EDIT: To those who want to be returned to the topic after a post like the old software, there is an option under preferences to do so.

Well, after trying it out this eve, I think the software change will be a good thing.  I REALLY like being able to have an avatar, and the additional text modification options are sweet.

Well, I'm still feeling my way through it. I haven't found anything broken yet. Just need to feel my way around to get used to how some things work.

Correction, after posting it goes back to the main page instead of the thread I was in. Is it supposed to do that?

Well, I haven't figured out how to switch the default number of posts per page from 10 to something more reasonable like 25, but the quick reply box is back!  Gotta love that Smiley  (It's in Profile, then click Look and Layout Preferences, then select "Use quick reply on topic display: show, on by default")

This IS pretty much the only place I post, THR occasionally but not that much anymore since I found this board. I try to strictly adhere to the rules over there these days to help keep the clutter down.
