There doesn't seem to be anything in the user settings to change the number of threads & posts to view per page.  Does this software allow for that option?

Don't know about everyone else, but I like as much stuff on one page as I can get.

I could say you used to be Blackburn, but I'll be nice and guess you're Mike Irwin in disguise.   cheesy

Wow. Bizarro world. I didn't even know a change was in the making. I liked the old format myself.

Is there a setting that will highlight threads with new messages in them since the last time I visited this forum? I do not mean the addition of <new> at the end of a thread title--which I do not like as much as just doing a quick visual inspection of the forum to locate new or newly replied to threads which the highlighted thread topics allowed me to do in the past.

Had to bring this back up to say just how much I like the notification feature that tells you if a new reply has been posted while you were typing a reply. I've edited many posts because of that. It's probably my favorite feature of this forum software.

I didn't think I would like the new look.  I thought it was hard to read.  Now that I'm used to it, I like it a lot.  I've also changed my mind about avatars - I have them turned on now.

Maybe a smilie overstatement, I guess...

Given your comments early on in this thread, I just didn't get the impression you'd come around like this.
