It is a good thing, and if one looks at the SR-556FB model number, there is a distinct possibility of other configurations waiting in the wings

I wonder what the price point might be on an A2 configuration?

What I think will be the make-or-break factor is if the SR-15 as configured reaches the dealer shelves at the nominal 60-80% of the Ruger catalog MSRP.

If that package is around $1200 (as the Obama panic fades), because it leverages Ruger's purchasing power for the third-party parts, and their MASSIVE distribution chain, that will be a game-changer in the AR market.
