I'm just hoping him and the Ag secretary (forest service) work together and are on common ground. I don't really know much about the ag secretary's stances, but I think consumptive recreational users and mechanized recreational users have lost a lot more ground (ha ha) in the last eight years in national forests than they have in DOI administered lands.
Part of national forests leaning more towards national park regs and administrative mindsets in recent years (partially escalated by WAY too much under the table involvement by enviro groups). To Boomhauer's point, yeah, 80% of the NPS staff will likely be losing their minds, especially if we see any relaxation of current NPS regs.
