"People ask me questions about present situations in life, and I say, ‘I don’t know, I’m just an actor,'" Hopkins told Pitt. " I don’t have any opinions. Actors are pretty stupid. My opinion is not worth anything. There’s no controversy for me, so don’t engage me in it, because I’m not going to participate."
Why should I care what Anthony Hopkins said about actors and political comments?
“No. I don’t feel I have to edit what I say – the things that make me angry are the things that make everyone angry. Everyone is annoyed with BoJo. Everyone has an issue with Trump – every sane person anyway.”
In this case, it's because he's talking about a subject he knows very well and has a lot of experience with: actors.
You will care a lot when he is eating your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
Exactly what I was thinking...Why does anyone give any weight to anything said by a person who makes a living pretending to be something they are not?
Isn't that pretty much what Hopkins said?
