Jesus... this should have been one hell of a better election.

Guess they'll have to take the hammer away from Nancy
-
And gee, the first thing out of McConnell's mouth is, "common ground with Biden".

Just like always, the establishment Ds and Rs are in the back room clubhouse, rubbing elbows, eating lobster and cavier, and laughing at all of us.

I’m sure Lindsey Graham will trip over himself to join in the reach reach
aroundacross the aisle.
-
Republicans will have the majority. Control is yet to be seen...
-
Looks like all the major outlets are showing the GOP with 218 or more wins. (NBC is projecting a 221 vote total.)
I'm glad that the GOP garnered enough votes to beat the margin of fraud and eke out a house win, but based on past experience with the GOP, I expect they'll disappoint me. Note also that they got a number of wins in places like CA and NY - those are fragile victories, and will definitely be at risk in 2024. Especially as GOP voters continue to flee those states for places like TX and FL.
I’m sure Lindsey Graham will trip over himself to join in the reach reacharoundacross the aisle.
It's gotten a little harder to predict what he'll do since his buddy McCain passed away. He's always been more interested in posturing rather than doing. Maybe he's not a full fledged RINO, but I see him voting with D's often enough to not trust him.

They will go all in on investigating everything while doing nothing. They should write some clean bills that will help the country and dare the dems to vote against them.

I think their majority is so slim they will be lucky if they don't end up having a few members defect to vote on crappy legislation. Certainly nothing the R's want will make it through the Senate. Best hope is for something added in to spending bill. Doubt we will see that.

They didn't waste any time.
Probably won't go anywhere but we'll see.
BREAKING: House Republicans announce an investigation into Joe Biden

I'm waiting on the media/dems to start spouting something along the lines how such investigations shouldn't be done to a president and how It's bad for the country and an attack on democracy

They will go all in on investigating everything while doing nothing. . . .
What about all the crooked bureaucrats and politicians who were fired, prosecuted, convicted, and imprisoned when GOP congressmen Darryl Issa and later Trey Gowdy were chairing House investigatory committees?
Oh, wait . . .
