Thus far your contribution has been to accuse others of butthurt & tinfoil hattery, exhibit historical ignorance, and to whine about terms the LGBTBBQ community uses freely amongst itself (but were used by folk who are not presumably part of that community).

Oh, and in a constitutional republic, abridgment of constitutionally enumerated liberties is scorched earth--or whatever analog you wish to use for political violence.  Freedom of conscience / religious liberty is the sort of thing that folk are morally justified in using violence to gain/regain/preserve.

Yes, it's different here. JPs can administer oaths, take depositions, attest to the authenticity of signatures on documents signed before them, a couple of other things I've forgotten for the moment ... and perform weddings.

Around here, add official pronouncement of death to that.  Always makes for an odd scene when you have 2-3 EMTs, several volunteer firefighters with various amounts of training in first (or more) aid, a couple deputies and troopers with similar training to the FFs, and some old guy who can barely put on a bandaid shows up to confirm that the pile of goo slowly being absorbed by a spill control barrier will not benefit from further lifesaving measures.

I would disagree ... There will be fewer quality and motivated men enlisting and taking commissions.  Many that do will look at themselves as more mercenary professionals than previous cohorts. ... Gov't and .mil will seek out warm bodies to fill the ranks from outside the USA, men who have no cultural affinity for America.

In the end, this may be part of the objective, as these new sorts will be more willing to shoot and kill Americans with whom they have no or little sympathy.

Just a reminder, while I realize some folks really really dislike homosexuals for various reasons, please use reasonably polite language and decorum. Besides it being polite, which itself is a pretty good thing, it doesn't help your own cause to not use reasonably polite language.
