Is there a skip or fast forward?  I hate those video presentations.

Seconded.  Essential viewing.

lame video. I don't watch such embedded videos out of spite. But from what I saw it looks pretty awesome. Great idea. I was expecting something semi-auto or at least double-shot, though. You could make an electrically cocking crossbow with lithimu-polymer batteries nowadays.
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.

Goes great with M203 grenade launcher and chainsaw attachments.  :-)

Hey, this is perfect SHTF gear.  When the zombies come, and you run out of 5.56, you can swap out the upper and keep fighting!

Cool toy, though.  Wonder what film or TV show we'll see this in first...

If you actually run out of 223 yet have plenty of crossbow bolts available, I think your priorities need to be evaluated. :D

I don't know if one needs the wear cycles on your high end AR trigger,
when a nice purpose built crossbow complete with trigger and butt stock is about 6-800 bucks cheaper

if i really wanted a 1300 + dollar crossbow, the Darton Lightning is quite lovely:

and its only 800 bucks

Well, theoretically you can use the crossbow against the occasional sole or small group of zombies, and reuse the bolts.  It's more difficult to reuse a .223 round.

Then there's the whole 'no noise to attract MORE zombies' benefit.  ;)

I initially thought the thing was a joke.  Especially when you get to the attachments part.

Then again, the attachments part did it's job - it got everybody posting it everywhere, thus should generate SOME sales.  If not of THAT crossbow, but of other things they also sell.

Cool and potentially useful but if you plan to use it because it is quiet then one may want to rethink that.

Don't know about the crossbow in the ad but crossbow's in general are far from silent. You get a quite loud THWANG from the string on release and a loud THUMP when said string whacks the bow's arms.

Quieter than a 5.56 NATO for sure but still...

well, I wouldn't buy that one but the other ones that are 3 or 4 hunnered or so, looks like a possibility.
