Charities benefing the troops in IQ
« on: December 23, 2005, 04:45:23 AM »
Hi, all,

It suddenly occurred to me that I ought to make some kind of a Christmas gift to those who are standing watch. I'd rather just send some money than spend time assembling a package. Any ideas about what a good servicemens' charity would be?

Thanks, and (without loss of generality) Merry Christmas,
- NF

There's always the USO.

Then it goes service-specific, ala' Air Force Assistance Fund, etc.

A $25.00 donation here http://www.kintera.org/site/pp.asp?c=cgLPI0OEKtF&b=1142619
will send a care package worth around $100.00 thru the USO.
I'm OK it's the rest of the world that's messed up
