What is your benchmark?
Well, let's see. If someone here asks about fiber optic transmission for telephones, someone here will write 500 words about how the technology works. If there's a question about a computer, ten people will discuss every last chip and drive in the thing, and will even know part numbers. If there's a question about the Middle East, someone will give a detailed history on the particular issue, Microbalrog will offer an Israeli perspective, and DeSelby will defend the radical Islam position.
No matter what the subject, someone here knows it like the back of his hand, which impresses me.
Would Leonard Nimoy know all that?
I have or at least had a high IQ (147) in high school. That was book smarts. When it comes to the kind of smarts that make a person successful financially, I'm dumb as a box of rocks.
