All right. The move to Yakima is progressing. I wanted to put out some feelers and see if anyone here that lives in, or vaguely close to SLC might have a couch they can lend me for a night. Driving from Mesa, AZ to Yakima means SLC is almost exactly half way.
Not sure of the exact schedule but probably sometime around April 6 or 7. One thing to make note of, I'll be travelling with my elderly cockatiel. Cockatiels are small grey birds with a yellow head/crest and orange cheek patches. Not especially loud, on a scale of 1-10 (1 being a finch, 10 being a Moluccan Cockatoo), I'd rate him a 4. He was a Christmas present when I was in 2nd grade. I've had him for over 22 years now. Normal life span is about 15.
So, if you have a couch somewhere in the general vicinity of SLC and are willing to tolerate a small bird for a night please let me know.
