I think people will retreat farther into their ideological tribes and continue to ratchet up their justifications for violence against the "others". The internet and information will continue to bifurcate, and each side will latch on to any evidence that the other side was bad as a true smoking gun, while dismissing anything else as disinformation.
As each side's rhetorical circle jerk increases in velocity people will internalize that our transfer of power is "fixed" or "illegitimate" and use that fixation to justify increasingly disruptive and violent demonstrations, which will eventually (probably not next week, but probably during our lifetime) result in one or more of the armed factions of the federal government seizing control of large parts of the country with violence, and installing whomever the folks with guns want as the "legitimate" leader.
I see zero chance that human nature and US culture will allow any significant number of people to lose faith in a series of elections and conclude that the whole thing was corrupt from before they were born. Not when they can cleave to their notions of morality and blame the others.
