Title: Hetch Hetchy and San Fran and Nancy Pelosi

This story is tragically ironic to me. I never knew the whole story behind Hetch Hetchy. Interesting that this is one that has Republicans backing the "environmental" side.

The tragically ironic part is that Pelosi was the driving force in cutting off water to half the farmers in the central valley. Water for me but not for thee. I can't believe this isn't getting more news time. The environmentally active San Francisco crowd is rather quiet as well.

It might be the thought of real bears in leather vests and caps...  :)   Among other things.
