$3.79 was the price on the pump at Seeley Lake, MT. Gardner, MT was $3.99 on Wednesday, probably higher there because of Yellowstone Nat'l Park.

If he can make more money with that higher price, then apparently that's what the price should be.
The higher gas price is the lack of compitition in this town.  The nearest compitition is 49 miles, which are more isolated than here.

So, due to lack of competition, the price should probably be whatever he's charging.

If you're pinching those kinds of pennies, maybe you'd better ride a bicycle, instead.  Or vote Democrat.  laugh

Were you born yesterday?  I was "pinching those kinds of pennies" years ago.  I thought everybody who drove kept an eye on gas prices like that.

But thanks for the tip on voting Democrat.   laugh

Went to gas up at North Myrtle Beach Thurs. evening. (9/11). BP stations had a 10 gal limit, $3.63.9/gal. Went to Shell as I wanted to fill up on vacation, heading home this AM. They'd gone from $3.64 to $3.99. Saw $4.09 in NC coming home today.

How much of our gas actually comes from the Gulf?

Stay safe, and topped off!

Two days ago price at the station down the street from me was 3.45.

Yesterday it went up to 3.59.

This afternoon when I went by it was 3.69.

The Shell around the corner was up to 3.79.

Cool story.  I was driving last night around 2 am, and I passed a bunch of gas stations advertising gas a 4.59 a gallon.  Then I saw one that was selling at 3.89.  I filled up then and there, and a 2gal emergency can in my trunk.  AND they had run out of everything but Premium, and were selling it at the regular price Smiley
