After needing 3 stitches to close a THREE millimeter hole in my head this am...!!!

Had a "punch" biopsy done on a strange area on my scalp.

Probably nothing, just don't feel like taking any chances with it.  The dermatologist wasn't wanting to make any "guesses" about what it was til the lab results were in.

BTW, FWIW, I already have "enough" respect for the 9mm round - I carry a Glock 19, after all!  

The doc just said I'd need one stitch.  Then when he was working on me he asked the nurse for another.  Then for ANOTHER, thicker one, while commenting "see, amazing how much you can get from one little punch!"

Nurse - "was that the 4mm?"

Doc - "nah, that was just the 3mm!"

Green Lantern, I'm sorry, but I think this means you are wimpy.  Or perhaps you are European?  A real, red-blooded American man wouldn't have felt anything unless the wound was at least 10 mm.

You're lucky the punch was FMJ.  If the doctor had been using the Teflon-coated Black Talon punch, we'd be reading about your gruesome, senseless death on Democratic Underground!

Which means, I guess, we're lucky too!
