Hospitals need to operate at x-capacity to stay operating. And with the spectre of nosocomial transmission, pretty much every room needs to be treated as an "infectious disease" room. In the labs, if we had a bug get loose, everything went into the furnace, and the room and furnishings got a serious bleach bath.
