Well, not to legitimize this particular activity, but I note that many biological surprises have come from weird places.
Offhand I can think of aspirin and penicillin, but I'm sure there are others. Years ago Wife2 pointed out to me that Premarin, a hormone replacement, was extracted from pregnant mare urine. Who'da thunk it? Certainly not me.
Sooo, again I emphasize that I'm not OK-ing this lady's activities, but I am pointing out that there might be biological surprises lurking in the strangest places.
Maybe even after stuff is processed through other biological machines. Like mares. Or yeasts.
