If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.

I really don't understand the obsession with newer, cooler, awesomer cellphones.

They are trackable as all get out, they are subject to the whims over over-priced service providers with horrible, horrible (and technically illegal in most cases) contracts, and then you get gunk from your face all over your screen.

I am not interested in doing computing tasks on something I've just had smushed against my face for the past ten minutes.  Not that I ever really use a cellphone, but if I did, I imagine it would spend a little time smushed against my face.  In any case, my spouse has a plain jane cellphone that I can borrow when I need to, and we have an ipod touch, for any on the go computing/PDA needs, without the lovely face-grease feature that the iPhone et al all offer.

That's what bluetooth is for. I don't like face grease/dried sweat on my phone's screen either.

I use my phone more for Internet/computing than I do phone calls arguably. I'm on APS with it right now as a tethered Internet modem.
I promise not to duck.
