Costco Christmas Tree Return
« on: January 11, 2018, 10:35:00 AM »
Well, this was pretty brazen. A woman returned a Christmas tree to Costco for a refund because it died... 10 days after Christmas. Costco refunded her money.

They have an incredibly liberal return policy, but this is ridiculous. Apparently the employees did try to fight her on it, but likely they saw the long line of people behind her and just gave in because the little amount for the return wasn't worth disgruntled people waiting in line.

Plus when your business model is bulk, spending too much time on small purchase returns isn't worth it.

I vote "Brazen" . . . she DID get her money back, didn't she?

I think maybe I should start pooping in a bag so I can return my groceries for a refund.

She got "her" money back but screwed the other members of the cooperative, right?
I say we vote her out and revoke her club card.

Because you keep returning them for a refund?
