Mine? Good info on ARs and AKs, not much else. It seems like the people are bit more obnoxious and rude than they are here.

Great resource for AR's, haven't had to use their knowledge on AK's.

Other than that, most wouldn't keep THR on THR.

Agreed... good information, not so good clientele.

its a train wreck well worth the daily random link into active topics

if you are looking for a deal on parts the "for sale" forums are a gold mine
and the advertizing dealers are square sellers

Generally kinda crappy culture.

They have some awesome technical information in the AK and AR forums (not NOT go to the general forum).

As has already been mentioned the trading post forums are an EXCELLENT source of some great bargains and dealers who are known to be straight shooters.

Apart from that, its not really a place to hang out if your over 21 or are incapable of following the hive-mind mentality of the place.

I think I've been there once or twice since I completed my AR back in March.

I'm interested in putting together an AR-15 someday and the site will probably be invaluable to me then
Yep, the tech forums are a great help.  As are the for sale forums, with links (and sometimes sales and deals) from all the manufacturers.

But as mentioned, the general forum is pretty much a waste of bandwidth.  Breaks down into an 'I'm better than you' fest, with few moderators.  The minefield on gunboards is tamer than this place on occasions.
