The good news is: there's nothing really new here.
The bad news is: there's nothing really new here.
I used to administer CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds for a city government. These are largely the same concepts and buzzwords in use 15 years ago. The longest war in US history, the War on Poverty, continues apace, with the perennial status quo, everybody's losing except the politicians.

True, but I really wish folks would read it. I'd love to take a red pen to it, not for editing purposes, but to point out the things that are going to destroy this country or that are just so much fluff.
Example 1) He's going to fund the "No Child Left Behind" program and make sure we're cranking out millions of uneducated school kids.
Example 2) He's going to hire 50,000 new police officers. In a country of what, 3 billion?
Example 3) He's going to fix the ex-con problem by creating a program modeled after the successful welfare-to-work program. Successful? OMG.
The list goes on. And on. And on. We're doomed.
