It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Yeah, if the media loves him and does his campaigning for him, anything could happen.

Sadly, I think he would still be better than Obama
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

First reaction was "  *expletive deleted*ck no,  he's not even remotely qualified, and on top of that, a grade-a *expletive deleted*bag.

Second reaction was: " how bad can he be, really?  Anything is an improvement over the current ahole.

YMMV

Said *expletive deleted*bag is suing the estate of former Seal Chris Kyle. I guess Kyle didn't hit Ventura hard enough.

Whilst Mr. Ventura may be a dick, he was far from the worst governor the state of Minnesota has ever had. I stayed up 'til 02:00 watching election returns and was giddy that he had won. It wasn't so much him winning as it was seeing Skip Humphrey come in third.

Tim Pawlenty was much, much better, though still a bit of a lib. I'd take Jesse Ventura over Mark Dayton any time!

Jesse Ventura became Gov of MN after I left that state . . . and yes, they COULD have done much worse, and by most accounts they already have. I'd take him in a heartbeat if offered as a trade for Obama.

But for POTUS, he wouldn't be my first choice. Or second. Or third. Or fourth. Or . . . you know, I can keep this train going for quite a while. But even Jesse would raise the bar for the Oval Office from where it's at now.

Suing a dead man's widow over what was written in a book that doesn't name him based on the author's verbal comments . . . is low. REALLY low. And pretty stupid, since it serves only to draw attention to the issue . . .
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

This is pretty typical anytime a person you are suing dies.  You go after the estate.
