Though I normally don't point out people's hardships and say in my best Nelson voice, "Ha-ha", I find this rather comical:

Sniper-Era Chief Training as Honolulu Street Officer

WASHINGTON -- Charles Moose was at the forefront of the hunt for the snipers who terrorized the D.C. area, four years ago -- the former Montgomery County Police Chief was the public face of the regional task force that arrested John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo.

Just before opening statements in Muhammad's sniper murder trial, Charles Moose is training as a recruit for the Honolulu Police Department.

WTOP has told you it was in the works in the past few weeks, but Michelle Yu, of the Honolulu Police Department confirms Moose entered the training academy May 1. She says Moose will undergo approximately six months of classroom training and another six months of field training.

Moose's wife has been quoted as saying her husband misses the excitement of police work and has been looking forward to getting back to the work he loves. You'll remember Moose stepped down as chief to write a book on the sniper investigation.

When he graduates, Moose will have the rank of Officer. He's being paid during the training period, but is technically on probation with the department.

Maybe this time he'll be weeded out as he should have been the first time! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
What a freaking joke.
Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.
I meet lots of folks like this, claim to be anarchist but really they're just liberals with pierced genitals. - gunsmith

I already have canned butter, buying more. Canned blueberries, some pancake making dry goods and the end of the world is gonna be delicious.  -French G

History repeats itself--the first time is tragedy, the second is farce.
I do not smoke pot, wear Wookie suits, live in my mom's basement, collect unemployment checks or eat Cheetoes, therefore I am not a Ron Paul voter.

Actually if you think about it, the joke's on the taxpayers of Hawaii.

He bungled his way through an investigation that got him nationwide attention and a fat book deal. He used the proceeds to retire to paradise and now he's bored. So he's going to live off the book money and "play cops and robbers" on the taxpayer's nickel.

I still want to know how may people were murdered between the time Mr. Moose knew the shooters weren't fat, angry white guys and when the perps were captured.  He deliberately had the nation looking for the wrong people all to satisfy his prejudices.  The man needs to be in the lock up.

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it." - John Lennon
