An interesting mystery story
« on: September 03, 2016, 12:20:34 PM »
Except that nobody was actually killed, this [true] story could have been written by Erle Stanley Gardner as a case for Perry Mason:

It confirms my opinion that you can't trust anyone and, at the same time, the fact that the Irvine police weren't snookered helps compensate for some of the horror stories I read about police officers elsewhere.

That was an incredibly interesting and terrifying read at the same time.  I mean, if that first cop had just brushed her off as "she's lying they all lie"..............

I guess I have to say it was well written as I made it through the whole thing.  Interesting.

Makes me glad I always keep my doors locked.  Not full proof though.

My reaction, as well. Thank goodness there are still a few good cops around.

Actually, it seems the entire Irvine PD must be good cops, because they really took the ball and [collectively] ran with it once they realized it was a frame-up.

BTW -- check out Kent Easter's web site. It's a Wordpress creation, and it reads like it must have been written by a Chinese and then run through a computer translation.

Wow.....

I'd actually guess written in English, then computer translated to Russian, then to Chinese, and then eventually back to Engrish...
