Community standards...

And, according to Facebook, I have permanently run afoul of them. Got an account disabled message.

I figure someone reported a photo of Breonna, Daunte, George and Jacob - the public faces of the New Civil Rights Movement.

If someone who is a member of the Bridgeport Mill User Group could let Tim Besmer that he's the boss now, I'd appreciate it.

I disabled my FB account during the election run up. Continually, it amazes me how the temptation to go and reactivate my account reappears.

It sucks you didn't get a chance to do any house cleaning before leaving the platform. As for myself I became frustrated one night at the insanity and unreality of what people I actually know were saying. So I just pulled the plug and disappeared myself, not letting folks know ahead of time, just "poof" he gone. No housecleaning or goodbyes for me either.

There were several groups I belonged to that were good for meeting up for various activities or getting info on trail conditions (mountain bike trails). Also I had a bit of success with FB marketplace. Marketplace is the leverage point of temptation for me right now, as I've downsized and have stuff to sell.

Overall, being off the platform has been a positive, you can take solace in that many of us have found that to be so. You will be better off.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Post the photo here.  I'd like to see it.

As for facebook, you're better off without it.

Post it here and I'll spread it on fecesbook.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Interestingly, folks defend Taylor, because, while she rented it, that "wasn't really her car."

That is a valid excuse in Washington State these days. At least for now.

 Yet, sometimes it is true.
Years ago I bought a used truck, drove it for years, onto base, over the border, got pulled over in it a few times and 12 years later-gasp-I cleaned the interior. What's this? Under the gearshift boot? That 10mm socket I lost? No, it's a fkkn hash pipe, sitting  there all this time waiting to result in a bust. Said a little prayer of thanks on that one.

I know a guy who bought a clunker used car, this goes back many years ago.

He was trying to trace out an electrical gremlin and found a pistol jammed up inside the dashboard from underneath!  (It wasn't the cause of the gremlins.)

When I bought the Green Bomber, from an impound lot, after I had the windows that had been shot out replaced, I did a cleaning of the fingerprint powder, and a removal of pretty anything that would remove. Didn't want to chance triggering a drug dog. That was back around 2000, and about 100k miles ago. I basically lived in the van for about two years from 2010-2012...

Brother bought a car at an auction many many moons ago and found some drug filled syringes under the trunk carpet filled with what I don't know.

I had a van stolen from the front of my house in SoCal. It was found out of gas on the side of the freeway near East LA. The inside was trashed, everything stolen or tossed. After I cleaned it up I took it to the the base and they were more than happy to run their drug dog through it. It came up clean so I was pretty happy and they were happy to work the dog.

I just got my first warning from FacePlace the other day. I was bantering back and forth with a long-time friend and said that if he did something "I'd cheerfully kick his ass."

WOOP! WHOOP! WHOOP! VIOLENCE VIOLATION! YOU ARE HEREBY WARNED THAT YOU HAVE VIOLATED COMMUNITY STANDARDS!

I clicked back the option that said "you simply don't understand the dynamics of the comment" or some such. Never heard anything back, so I guess I have been soundly chastized.
