No word on exactly what the violence is/was.

I'm making an assumption that this particular locale tends towards the left side of the aisle... and they chose this for themselves.  Even those who said "as long as it doesn't become profiling" were in favor of the curfew.

I'm all for everyone packing heat and taking care of themselves, personally... but I'm not running that town and don't know the situation.

I'd thank them not to inflict widespread curfews on my area, and I won't make them carry guns to protect themselves in their area.

Absolutely.

Stay out of Philly.  They've been having problems for quite some time.  I'm hardly surprised.  My folks originally came from Darby.  There is a reason why they left.  Used to be old school Italian area.  Not so much anymore.  I remember when the sidewalks were actually nice.  Got a bit worse every year.  Kinda sad.
