*I still remeber the first prototype "4473" in mimeograph form. Don't remember the gun but it was a shop on Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder.
I groused about it to the shop owner, but he said it was the new law, and I filled it out and went home with my purchase. And it was a couple of hours later that it dawned on me: "Hey, that's a *expletive deleted*ing infringement!"
Kinda sneaks up on you, doesn't it?
And each successive infringement becomes normalized as "that's the way things are."
