I bought all 5 at my local Academy this evening, and would have bought 10 if they'd had them available! These things aren't only useful for handguns, but for anything delicate requiring some protection when traveling. I'm going to use a couple for camera equipment, lenses, etc. I'll cut out the outlines of the equipment in the center foam piece, leaving the top and bottom foam sheets intact for protection against bounces.
At this price, these things are a screaming bargain - five to ten times less than a typical hard-sided camera case. If you want high-density foam instead of the soft stuff, that can be bought very cheaply from foam supply stores. Worth a look.
