If it should happen that your wife is watching a chick flick called "Station Agent", which is described as, "A friendly man and a tormented woman try to befriend an anti-social dwarf who inherited a train depot", and it gets to the part where the triad is sharing their emotions, do not say, "What this disaster needs is a good gun fight right here."
