Dead animals. In an unrefridgerated truck. Open to the air. People handling them w/o gloves/facemasks, etcetera.

It IS a refrigerated trailer...note the style of flooring which is common to nearly all reefer trlrs.  CA license plate?

I can tell you from having hauled my fair share of meat that this isn't the accepted method..meat packing plants and food processing plants are notoriously picky about the conditions of transport, cleanliness of trailers and seals, temp control, etc.  Believe it or not, pet food processors are the most picky!

This may be OK in most 3rd World areas, but not in the US, and DEFINITELY NOT in the DPRC.

GACK! I know that carcasss' have been transported in like fashion for thousands of years, but images like that promt me to consider becoming a vegetarian again.
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.

I knew it looked familiar.  My wife used to take voice lessons from a guy who lived waaaay out on the far end of Noriega.

Well, except for Chinatown.

I used to love to eat there, but harbored no illusions about the cleanliness of anything in the area.
