Bush in 2016?
« on: December 02, 2014, 06:31:51 AM »
Haven't heard or read everything being said about him or what he has to say but sounds like Jeb could be a "strong" candidate for the R's in 2016.  One thing I heard him say was that he would make a decision "shortly".

No better way to guarantee another Dem in the White House than to have another Bush as the GOP nominee.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

...and that is why the media are pushing Jeb so hard. They will be his best friend until he gets the nomination. We've seen this happen over and over again, and it will continue to happen.

Not saying he is the best option but somehow I'm afraid he may become the only one.  [barf]

It will be a cold day in hell before I vote for another Bush.  A Bush is a fine way to ensure the base stays home.

Not just "a" Bush, but "the strongly pro illegal amnesty" Bush. Jeb really would be a new height of the R's telling the base to go fck themselves.

Very true, since we'd effectively have a Democrat POTUS even if Jeb Bush were to somehow win the election.  [barf]
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Scenario 2 is impossible. The latter name would never accept second billing to the former.

Clinton/Warren vs Bush/Christie
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

Hmm, I wonder how I could troll APS today? I know, I'll start a thread about Jeb for 2016. I'm not quite as worried about Jeb becoming president, as I am of being bored to death by all the outrage over him. I just can't manage to get too worked up about the Bush/Clintons of the world. They are obviously terrible candidates. Whoever votes for them deserves them.
