One of President Obama’s donors has worked to untangled himself from legal problems in Oregon. Terrence Bean, a top Obama bundler, has sought a civil remedy to a sex abuse charge after the 66 year-old donor and his 25 year-old boyfriend allegedly had sex with a 15 year-old boy at an Oregon hotel.
Bean, who raised over $1 million for President Obama’s presidential campaigns, was arrested in Oregon in November and charged with two counts of third-degree sodomy and one count of third-degree sex abuse.

Bean, a homosexual activist, apparently sought a civil remedy to the criminal charge and his attorneys, after clearing the court room, pitched a settlement agreement to the judge that had been arranged with the boy and his family.

However, the judge did not accept the agreement after he learned that Bean had once before escaped legal consequences for a similar offense from having offered a settlement.

No individual in Oregon raised more money for President Obama’s election than Terrence “Terry” Bean, a Democratic Party bigwig and gay rights champion. Obama even thanked Bean in a speech soon after. But now Bean, a 66-year-old real estate developer who is a founder of the Human Rights Campaign, has been arrested on sex crimes charges in Lane County, Ore., according to the Portland Tribune.

I haven't really been following that story, but I'll withhold judgement on Jared until he's actually charged with something, and even then he gets some benefit of the doubt.  I really don't buy into this modern theory that it doesn't matter whether you are guilty or not, the only thing that matters is the seriousness of the allegation.

It would just be too convenient for his former associate to accuse Jared to try to negotiate leniency by ratting out a bigger fish.

Actually something of my point - I figure Russell targeted Jared in order to get into a position of some trust with children.  Given what Russell was busted for 'bigger fish' would be rather tough.  They have him on production and distribution of child porn.

Jared, the moment he found out what Russell was arrested for, dropped him completely.

The worst I've heard about Jared is that the FBI searched some of his computers - computers that I figure that Russell had access to, given that they found work documents on some of his filthy thumb-drives.

EVERY case of child-porn I've heard about had it also being found on work computers.

Why would Bean donate so much money to Obama?  To have some hope of top cover if he got caught.

I mean, I dislike Obama for a lot of reasons, but I prefer that we attack him for things that he's actually done, that we wouldn't accept if it was coming from somebody else.

My post was more a poke at media bias than obama but sure he is a pos for associating with the likes of the founder of such an organization.

And i do not care to follow the same risible code of conduct that allowed the likes of obama to be elected.  Screw losing while being true to some moderates prissy code of conduct.
