Or am I just easily irritated?

I was watching an episode of Modern Marvels about police guns and suchlike, and it only moderately irritated me, except for one thing.  They had an H&K rep. demo'ing a suppressed MP5, and while he was explaining how it might be used, he used the phrase 'narcotics salesmen'.  
Can we not even say 'drug dealers' anymore?  Jesus.

1.  Sure, but I figured that it was preferable to what I was really thinking.  Art's Gramma would not have approved.  In future I'll try and stick to Gabby Hays mode.

Drug dealer has a negative connotation.  There are probably some parts of the world where being a drug dealer is perfectly legal, and somewhat honorable.  So, they prefer the more professional terms.
