Wouldn't two people on exact opposite sides of the world cancel each other out?  Shouldn't you get everyone in one place and do this, so the force is all in one direction?

Are they realy serious? It sounds like one of those plans where everybody thinks good thoughts at the same time and the world will be a better place, at least there is the same amount of science involved.
