As an escapee from his congressional district, I can tell you that he'll vote for whatever the Democrats tell him to vote for......just as long as he can bring home a little bacon to the Central Texas/Ft. Hood area....
...but he's a strong supporter of "sportsmen and hunters" and "common sense gun laws"....
...in other words, he's a typical Democrat......
