Interesting article about perhaps thinking of education reform by socioeconomic status rather than race.

Education "reform" has failed everyone, regardless of race or socioeconomic status.  They took a system that produced the industrial revolution and "reformed" it to look more like the Soviet Union's.

The irony of that article is that the Bernie voters are in the exact same boat as this guys Trump supporters, just with more education and even less employment opportunities since the market has no need for any more liberal arts degrees.

It's not liberal arts degrees per se that are unwanted by the market.  It's the Democrat Victim Group Studies majors from SJW University that are unwanted.  A good liberal arts degree, such as are available from Hillsdale College, still has significant value in the marketplace.  The difference is that places like Hillsdale College actually, you know, educate their students rather than just propagandize and indoctrinate with leftist talking points.

I'm hoping we can find a way to send our kids there, or something similar.  But it's a long ways away, and rather spendy.

There are a lot of scholarships available to go there, I'd be sure to investigate if you are interested.

I'm not sure there is an answer on how to properly educate the children of the dependency classes.

There are whole bureaucracies that are dependent upon the existence of the dependency class. Solving the problem puts them out of business.
