i was wondering where i could get one of those watches that have a clip to attach to your beltloop. i have one, but want to upgrade. i'd like metal, and affordable. cheap, even, but that could mean cheaply made...

Dunno if it's what you want, but Dakota Watch company has several models where the watch is mounted on a carabiner (sp?) type hook.

i'm worried someone could use it as a handle if they got a hold of you. Why I use a wrist watch. I don't like anything hanging from my pants

nah, it aint much of a handle. besides, it's usually hidden under my shirt, and my ponytail, shirt collar, arm, etc is a more likely "handle"...
