Probably my all time favorite normal Christmas songs are...

Faith of our Fathers done by Bing Crosby

Have Your Self a Merry Little Christmas by the Pretenders.

The house about 15 seconds into the video is INCREDIBLE. Not sure what movie clip it is...

The footage of the "Christmas Ball," I'm guessing, is from "Meet Me in St. Louis."  Is a straight man allowed to know what Judy Garland looks like?  I think so, cause she was HOT.

I've heard a version of Midnight Clear that is just beautiful.  I don't know who sings it, but it sounds like Amy Grant to me.

Not a traditional Christmas song, but my absolute favorite is "Nothing but a Child" by Steve Earle. (Yeah, I know.)

"Once upon a time, in a far off land
Wise men saw a sign, and set out across the sand
Songs of praise to sing, they travelled day and night
Precious gifts to bring, guided by the light
They chased a brand new star, ever towards the west
Across the mountains far, but when it came to rest
They scarce believed their eyes, they'd come so many miles
And the miracle they prized was nothing but a child

Nothing but a child could wash these tears away
Or guide a weary world into the light of day
And nothing but a child could help erase these miles
So once again we all can be children for awhile

Now all around the world, in every little town
Everyday is heard a precious little sound
And every Mother kind and every Father proud
Looks down in awe to find another chance allowed"

"A son of the sea, am I" Gordon Lightfoot

I'll Have a Fun Christmas Without You
Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin

Be careful that the toes you step on now aren't connected to the ass you have to kiss later.
