A conversation we had the other day about replacing monitors got me to thinking:
What are the best sites you've found (in terms of price and service) for purchasing computer stuff?  This can include total systems, components, memory, printers, or anything else.

Usually the best prices (not always, but usually), but top-notch service, and inventory that is much bigger than anyone else.

Older computer parts can be found at www.txmicro.com This website is from the same company as www.woot.com  so sometimes past woot deals can be found on the txmicro site at better prices..or the same prices.

Second newegg and mwave--mwave is a smaller company with a pretty bad web page, but they have decent prices, and if you want a full system, they'll assemble all the parts you buy from them for something like $35.  Last time I built a full system, I priced them out and even with the assembly fee it was only 75 bucks more than newegg, which to me was the magic number to let them deal with all the hassle.

JJ, I had never heard of txmicro before, I'll check them out.  I've nevered ordered from woot, but I like the whole idea behind what they do and the way they do it.

Dell's online store for rebuild/refurbished computers.  I've gotten two laptops for $650 each.  I don't like their customer service or their interest rates (PAID CASH) but their prices and performance can't be touched.  They have a hugh selection, believe me I searched, no one came close in price or selection and they still offered a (90 day) warranty!

Ahh I have ordered 5 or 6 times from woot and 2 or 3 from Txmicro.  No worries there.

Ill third the recomendation for newegg. They often have some insane deals on brown-boxed OEM hardware and various manufacture overruns etc. I have gotten some top-noth gear at absurd prices from them.
