Pandora
« on: December 11, 2012, 11:16:11 PM »
I just signed up for a free Pandora account.  Free, so I have to put up with ads.  That's OK... but why do they keep showing me ads for Cialis, more Cialis, and Match.com? (and that's about all)   Are they trying to tell me something?  Are they getting that from my music selection?  (mostly twangy old country music with a little Junior Brown and Bob Wills)

Hee-hee. If you're using Firefox, install Adblock. I found that it greatly improved my Pandora experience.

I get pandora through my roku. An ad comes through once or twice a day.
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

I have thought about this very thing when I am watching the Military Channel at night.  A lot of ads for Viagra and Christian Mingle.com.  So I figure that the audience for the Military Channel in the evening must be older male divorcees who are looking for a good church-going lady to marry.  And they want to make sure that the honeymoon night goes smoothly.

Perhaps if to listen to a little less Marvin Gaye and similar the adds for such..aides would go away.
That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.
