Sticker for this showed up in my community the other day for an "organizing meeting."
In case you're wondering, it's besmartforkids.org
And to be smart, you need to know what their acronym means...
S - Secure guns in homes and vehicles.
M - Model responsible behavior.
A - Ask about unsecured guns in other homes.
R - Recognize the risks of teen suicide.
T - Tell your peers to be SMART.
Interesting that they're trying to teach about aspects of gun safety, yet the only groups they're apparently affiliated with are Moms Demand Action and Everytown For Gun Safety....
And as we know, those groups aren't about gun safety, they're about gun control and taking the guns out of hands of everyone.
I'm half tempted to go to the meeting just to see who shows up, but I'm not sure that would go over well given that I'm well known as being a gun owner.
