Charlie Sheen - yay! ;)
« on: April 07, 2011, 07:00:28 AM »
My sister in law got free tickets to see Charlie. 4 free tickets actually. Nobody wants them.

I'm thinking free? Why the hell not?  [popcorn]

Take ear plugs and blinders.  Or a book.  You should be good.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

I'd be going, 280.

Is it just me or does anyone else think
that some of what he says makes sense?

He seems talented, articulate, outspoken and nuts all at the same time
and yet I like to listen...

I read that most of the audience walked out of his first show, and a lot of people were booing and yelling that they wanted their money back.

If it's free, then that's a different story. You only have to worry about mental anguish, not monetary. ;)

They are trolls and cannot think 8th dimensionally like Charlie Sheen can, no wonder they wanted their money back.

I just have to wonder what he was saying to elicit that reaction? I mean, folks bought tickets to a guy known as a raving lunatic, you'd think it'd be an easy crowd to please.

I figure it this way, if he sucks and I feel like heckling him so he tells me too bad he's already got my money I can say, "No you don't, I got them for free because nobody wanted them."  >:D

There is, as always, a snag. My two boys turn 28 and 25 on 4/15 and 4/17 respectively so we already planned the bbq on the same day but I'm thinking if Charlie is late enough and there is 4 tickets they might like to join me.  >:D

Did I ever tell you about the time I took now 28 yo then 17 yo to a just after jerry died Bob Weir concert which might as well have been a dead concert? All the inlaw types were insistent that I was going to get him all drunk and high, at 17, and the grapevine was just a buzzin' away. What a bunch of asses. He's almost 28, I still haven't ever gotten him or his brother drunk or high.  ;/

I am aware that it happens time to time without my help though.  =|

I heard that part of the reason for the crowd's displeasure was that some rapper was supposed to appear at the show . . . but they had a video of the rapper instead.

But has he been adjudicated as such?  Does the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders have a category for raving lunatic?

I know it does for "crazy like a fox," though.

You couldn't pay me enough to leave my house to listen to that lunatic rant.

Please -- DON'T go. The fewer people who go listen to him rant, the less reinforcement he receives in his delusion that anything he says means anything to anyone.

"Warlock." PFFFFT! He ain't no warlock. He's just a bag of [bleep] with delusions of adequacy.

His stand up may suck...

But i'm not buying on the crazy trainwreak part.

'crazy like a fox' is right. This is the most brilliant parady of a celebrity trainwreck.

He is egotistical, contriverisal and high as a kite, but that guy knows exactly what he's doing...

And I think its funny as hell.

I vote go  >:D

I'm thinking if I heckle him good enough he might hire me to tour with him as guest heckler. That would be cool.

I mean it is a chance to see it all up close and decide real or fake train wreck. That shouldn't be too hard to tell.  [popcorn]
