Is it just me, but the pictures of the trash can in Point pleasant look like an m80 thrown into the trash? The plastic recycling can right next to it is not even damaged.
I probably walked right past that can last weekend, we were down there last weekend.
Plus its officially the off season, if there is 10% of the normal about of people in the area. If anyone had done there homework they would have done that 2 weeks ago.

Yes, a probing attack was what I was thinking as well. The perps probably could gain Intel from the attack (assuming Roo's synopsis is incorrect, though I don't see why it would be)... Set off bomb on one side of town, presumably with a bottleneck (or fatal funnel), attack a mall or church on the other side of town, and either use an ambush or block the bridge to create more chaos or cover escape.

If it was Tannerite, what made it go boom? I thought Tannerite had to be detonated by significant impact.
