Title: BOLO for Jupiter, Neptune, and Venus
Post by: 230RN on February 05, 2023, 08:40:29 PM
Any units west of 105° longitude and a clear sky look for these three planets just before sunset about 45° up*,  southwest.

SPECTACULAR !

Looks like a marriage between Jupiter, god of Jollity and Venus, goddess of love, with Neptune officiating.

That is all.

Terry, Dispatch, Denver, 230RN

*Depends on your latitude. HQ is at 40° N.

My two year old and I saw that (and a beautiful moonrise) tonight.

He kept calling Jupiter “Julia”.

Some pretty bright lights aboard them there "balloons." And following highly predictable paths.  In fact, on March 1 they'll practically bump into each other.

Here's an interesting Orrery because of the paint jobs.
