Entertainment....
« on: March 06, 2007, 02:43:26 AM »
Rather than start two threads, I'm combining two entertainment topics here.

1) Last week, wife and I saw comedian Ron White in DC.  If you're okay with off-color humor, he's great!  His show was long, too.  There was one moron yelling out requests, which got some funny responses....and one heckler that got even funnier responses....

2) Last night, we saw the movie Wild Hogs.  Very funny, with a ridiculously corny ending.  It was pretty mild, and would be okay for kids probably above age 10.

Ron White is funny as heck, but I haven't heard any new content from him since I first heard him in the original Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

Wild Hogs looks like it'll be an entertaining movie.  We'll probably rent it.

Alas, at that level of alcohol abuse, he won't last long. And he does need new material.

1- I liked the "They Call Me Tater Salad" story where he told two stories at once. Didn't care for much else. A drunk's only funny if you're drunk too. And I'm usually nowhere drunk enough.

2- I may have to check out "Wild Hogs". I tend to like Tim Allen's work. grin
