Where could the fraud take place?

I bought a pretty expensive guitar from an outfit in the UK. I used PayPal to pay, did everything up front with PayPal, asked the buyer to insure the package and send it signature required.

I haven't been able to reach him for a few days, which makes me nervous.

Is there somewhere in all this where I could be scammed?

I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?
