Good stuff, Josh Whedon is brilliant.  Now I hope he will do an Angel movie, either TV or Theater, an d explain some more that was lacking at the end of the Angel Series.

Vernal... from what I've heard, you'd be more likely to see a Buffy movie than Angel. There was LOTS of bad feelings at the end of the Angel run...

Took the day off of work and saw it yesterday with my wife.   Hey, if they're going to release a movie like that on my birthday who am I to argue?

Great movie.  Good "Joss Whedon you bastard!" moments.  

Doubt we'll see an Angel movie soon unless David Boreanaz's new TV series (Bones) falls through.  I have heard rumors that a Spike based movie is in the works.

I just watched the "Out of Gas" episode last night, and it was the best episode I've seen so far.  Lots of fun or poignant scenes.  I especially liked the "recruiting" of Jayne and the dialog between Mal and Wash where Mal "convinces" Wash to make a repair to the communications.  That is one endearing series; the more I watch, the more it grows on me.

Saw it with my wife yesterday in a theater about half full. From laughs and hoots, obviously many other series fans present. Surpassed all my (high) expectations. Give me more!

Best movie I've seen in a long time.  It's every bit as good as the show, and that's really saying something.


"Washout" may have a sort of double meaning, not necessarily that the movie was bad.

I almost got shot for calling it a "Washout" in a group of fellow die-hard Firefly fans (all converted either directly or indirectly by me) after the movie.
