I just got me a Garmin GPS, and I would like to load some street maps of Iraq into it.
I found some GREAT ones at this address
http://www.gmap.com.mx/ir/But they're expensive. I have various utilities to create my own maps, but have no idea where to begin. Can anyone point me in the right direction to make the maps? I also have software to transfer said maps to the GPS. Has anyone done this with Iraq? Anyone have a garmin basemap for iraq(IMG format)?
