Hidden Figures...

The movie about the early days of the NASA program.

Anyone see it? I finally caught it on HBO and really liked it. It did play fast and loose with some of the historical content (what movie doesn't), but the three main leads were fantastic (Octavia Spencer is always great). Jim Parsons had a very good role, in a lot of ways like Sheldon but without the humor component of TBBT.

What really surprised me is that human computers were still in such prevalent use into the 1960s.

I watched it not too long ago. I thought it was thoroughly enjoyable.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Samuel Adams
