For once, it's not your fault. The closest I've come to two-tone was stainless and that was classless enough. Park, blued, or hard chrome. Nickel may be acceptable if you like to dress up, like .38 super, are Mexican, or all of the above.

Two-toned 1911s should never exist! They are a perversion of nature, and everyone should hate them!

If G-d had intended for 1911s to be two-tone, He would have caused John Moses Browning (may he rest in peace, all hail JMB) to design it that way.

IMNSHO, an equal (or greater) perversion is 1911s with Damascus slides.
